I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Cognitive Systems Laboratory (CSL/KOGS), part of the Department of Informatics at Universitaet Hamburg (Germany). I am working on dynamic scene interpretation using temporal and spatial constraints.
If you wish to contact me you can find me in Room 116, Buiding R or email me at fraile@informatik.uni-hamburg.de.
I have recently worked on tracklet clustering by merging multiple hierarchical clusterings of overlapping sets. I previously worked on information theory for model selection (MDL and the like) with applications to vehicle trajectory analysis and remote sensing. I have also worked on graph-spectral methods for surface reconstruction from fields of surface normals.
I formed part of the organising committee of the British Machine Vision Conference (BMVC2008) which took place in Leeds, and I have also been coordinator of the vision journal club in Leeds.
